A New Year

Happy Monday!
It was nice to get back to work today. I am not sure that many people can say that about their job after a 2 week break. I love my job and I love the humour and innocence in the kids.

I am on cycle day 3 of clomid today and go in to my RE’s office on Sunday for a follicle scan. I feel a bit nervous about scheduling the appointments as I am assuming that if we see some follicles I will have to go back in 2 days which is tuesday, then 2 days again – thursday. Both days which would make me miss work. I hate that other teachers or parents might think I am flakey and don’t take my job seriously.

We have only had snow fall once this year and it did not really last. I cannot believe it is January and still no snow! I am not complaining though.

The baby dog is doing good. She had her first physio appointment on Friday and they told us she was looking really good for having surgery less then 4 weeks ago. They also told us we were a bit over doing it with her. She is really high energy and loves to play with us and her toys. They said the risk of her getting hurt were too high and that we need to box up all the toys :(. Poor R. She just looks at us with these bored little dog eyes. We have a few exercises to do with her but they are not exciting for her. She is able to walk up short hills now so we take her up over the overpass to get in her strength exercise. She still sneaks up and jumps on top of her sister sometimes if we don’t watch her close enough. She loves to play.

Nothing else much is new here. Hope everyone is having a good first week of 2014!

I’m sure the people you work with as well as the students and parents know how much you love your job and how seriously you take it. I hope things this week go well.
Also, yay for an energetic and healing pup. You must feel so relieved!
